Many people think that they’ll sacrifice flavor and quality if they reach for generic brands in the supermarket. But if you take the time to look at the labeling you’ll see that not only are these items cheaper, they’re pretty much identical.
The only thing you’ll miss out on is fancy packaging and buying into a massive marketing campaign designed to make you pick these items. You can begin experimenting little by little. Try the store brand tomato sauce and you’ll like it just as much as your current favourite.
Are there exceptions? Of course. You probably won’t find anything similar to Coke, but otherwise, it all depends on your taste.
