EDIBLE SEASONED GRASSHOPPERS
Eating insects may not be everyone’s idea of a good time, but grasshoppers are considered a delicacy by many, particularly in Oaxaca, Mexico, where they’re known as chapulines. Seasoned with chili peppers, garlic, salt, citrus, and other spices, these dehydrated grasshoppers can be added to tacos or other dishes, or just eaten with a twist of lime and cold beer (as they’re often enjoyed in Oaxaca instead of peanuts).
