6. Always back-up
In case a person managed to steal your files and documents or a virus compromised them, it is important that you already have an external copy of them.
This process should be done on a regular basis since your data can be accessed at any time. You can either choose to back them up in your cloud or on external hard-drives.
However, bear in mind that not only hackers or viruses can destroy your content, it can also be internal errors or the hard-drive just happened to collapse. This is an additional reason for why you should start backing up now.
