You wash disposable silverware
Imagine this: you’re having a nice get-together with friends, everyone’s enjoying the food and drinks even if they are served in plastic silverware. That’s really not important as long as everyone is having a good time. Then you ask your friends to give you the plastic utensils they’ve been using. So far so good, you’re just recycling, right?
Only that you’re not…you’re asking them not to throw the plastic silverware so that you can wash it and reuse it some other time. Do you really think they’ll be coming back for another party with washed disposable silverware?
You use paper towels like normal towels
It’s true that paper towels are not always on the cheap side but your solution to save money on these items is questionable, to say the least. You’ve transformed your entire kitchen into a drying place for paper towels.
After all, what could be wrong with rising, drying and reusing the towels? We’ll tell what’s wrong…they’re not eco-friendly, for one, even if you do reuse them and secondly, it’s not hygienic to keep reusing the same towels over and over again when they’re clearly not meant for that.
