Skipping the Resting Time
We know, we know. You’re hungry. You’ve just finished cooking a delicious steak. Now it’s time to dig in, right? Not really, no!
The ‘resting time’ some recipes offer may seem like a waste of time, but it’s a crucial part of the process. If you hurry and cut your meat you’ll notice that all the juices are flowing out. In order to prevent that from happening, wait a little while. In that time the juices will redistribute themselves within the cut.
