10 Tips & Trick to Find Real Vintage Treasures at Thrift Stores

8. Look for parts

When it’s time to tackle a new DIY project or if you just want to spruce up a piece of furniture in your home, consider buying items for their parts. You may not want another adorable, vintage coffee table, but have you seen the legs on that thing!?

You can pretty much deconstruct anything you find for electrical parts or wood. Nothing has to go to waste and that way you’ll be creating a neat pile to dip into as time goes on. The more parts you have the less likely you’ll be to go out and spend money on future projects.

The best part about this is that you’re likely to find really unique details. That’s one step closer to making your hose one of a kind!
