11 Online Security Tips Everyone Should Know

2. Strong passwords

Another good tip is to create a strong password for all of your accounts and not use the same one for all of them. The general advice is to use random letters, symbols and numbers, you shouldn’t use family members’ names, birthdates or anything easy to guess.

If you are concerned that you might forget it you can always write it down in an encrypted file.

Or you could do it the old fashioned way and write it on a piece of paper, nowadays criminals are more likely to get your passwords from your device than breaking into your home.

The longer it is, the better, it will be harder for anyone trying to hack your accounts to get in. Do not share your passwords with anyone ad make sure you change on a regular basis.
