Using this option always comes in handy. Just in case the person trying to get into your account figures out your password, having a second method of protection will assure you that your personal data such as emails, photos and work related documents are safe.

The two factor authentication usually works like this: a code is sent  to your phone number and the website or app will request it after you have introduced your password to make sure it’s really you accessing your account, not another person.

The code sent will only work once, after introducing it the process will repeat itself every time you wish to enter your account.
