Just like plastic containers, Grandma knew that plastic bags can also be successfully reused. Just rinse them with lukewarm water and they are as good as new (except if they held raw meat or something else that could harbor harmful bacteria).
If your bags are safe to use, bacteria-wise and were only used for foods that were safe to eat or non-food products, then reusing them as much as possible should not be a problem.
