Do not use bright colors on your walls

As in the case of dark colors, using bright colors may brighten up your space, but they shrink your space as well. Nevertheless, you can use bright colors but in the form of accessories, such as pillows, blankets and flower vases.

According to Tina Huffman, the designer behind Greenhouse Studio web design, “paint that’s too bright and saturated can make a room feel overwhelming and like the walls are closing in.”
