In addition, you can make your own cleaning product at home. For instance, you can clean the floor with a combination of water, sanitary alcohol, bleach and you can add something that smells nice to cover the scent of other chemicals, such as laundry conditioner or dishwasher. After this cleaning process, you should leave the window open for a few minutes. Do not forget that it is very important to ventilate the house as well, especially during the self isolation period.

Nevertheless, whatever you choose to do, do not forget to wash your hands often for at least twenty seconds. “The reason everyone is emphasizing hand-washing is that [coronavirus] is helpless without a way to reach your lungs. The act of touching something contaminated and then touching your face makes this happen. So if you’re thinking about household cleaning, this should be your priority,” says Tomasi.
