We all love a good bargain and there is something inherently satisfying about finding a good deal, but just how good a deal is it really? Are you buying the item just because it was on sale? Ask yourself, if it wasn’t on sale would you have bothered spending your money on it otherwise? Retailers have turned tempted you into buying things into an art form, especially with things like the January sales or Black Friday, but most of the time the purchase is either wholly unnecessary or the deal you think you are getting is not exactly as great as the retailer might suggest it is. So, next time you are shopping try and make a list before you leave the house or go online so that you buy exactly what you meant to buy in the first place.
