Playing Cards Tax

Uncle Sam already taxes the American citizens on gambling, but the state of Alabama took it a step further until 2015 when it repealed their playing cards tax.

The tax existed because of gambling in the first place, and the lawmakers who spearheaded this tax seemingly forgot that most people play cards for fun, not to earn a little money on the side. Yep, the Heart of Dixie used to charge a 10-cent tax per pack!

Bachelor Tax

Are you single and ready to mingle?
