13 Cleaning Mistakes You’re Probably Making at Home

Not Cleaning Your Microwave

And, finally, neglecting your microwave. We know, we know… cleaning the microwave is kind of difficult, mainly because of the crammed space. A lot of people also don’t know what kind of products to use, so they avoid doing this at all costs.

If you’ve never cleaned your microwave before or if you’ve only ever done it a few times in the past, then your first step is to put a bowl with water, lemon juice, and vinegar inside. Turn the microwave on for one to two minutes, allowing the inside to steam up. Use a damp cloth to clean up afterward.

Then, simply wipe it down after every use so you won’t have to resort to deep cleaning ever again. Finally, clean the buttons on the outside and you’re done! Easy, right? Like light switches, if you touch the buttons on your microwave very often then you should clean them more than you clean the rest of your house.

And that’s that! We hope these tips will make cleaning your home a lot easier! What other tips do you have? Leave them in the comments below!
