We’re going to finish off with one of the best tricks to save money without having to do anything differently. Say you’ve just finished paying off a loan. You have extra spending money- yay! But you should put that money to good use instead of spending it willy-nilly.
You can do this by setting aside the amount you’ve been paying off. By now you’ve probably figured out how to fit the monthly loan payment in your budget, so it’s not like you NEED the extra money. Nothing will change in your daily spending habits anyway, so it’s good to keep it up for as long as possible until you reach your financial goals.
Of course, it’s equally important to not get into more debt. Otherwise, you’ll go back to old habits and your savings will stagnate!
