If you’ve just whipped together an incredible marinade, you wouldn’t be wrong for wanting to serve it at the dinner table as a sauce. But if you’ve marinated meat in it, then simply serving it up could be very dangerous.
Since the marinade could be contaminated, it’s better to boil it for at least one minute before serving it. Another solution is to set aside some of it before adding the meat. That way, you won’t have to boil anything later either.
