In every respectable kitchen around the world, chefs always taste their food. Not doing so is unacceptable! Without tasting you won’t know if the texture is good, if you’ve added too much or not enough of something, or if the temperature is right.
Avoid disasters when you’re ready to serve up the food by tasting along the way. Do so with every recipe, no matter how confident you feel. Maybe if you’re having an off day you might skip a certain step my mistake without even noticing. Only by tasting can you correct your mistake before it’s too late!
