11 Things Parents Splurge on for Their Kids but Shouldn’t

Eating out

Eating out with children is not always sunshine and rainbows. Maybe not ever. Kids rarely stay put when in a restaurant and always want food that they don’t eat, making you waste a lot of money every time you go out.

Eating out with your family seems nice, but in reality, it’s a real money pit. If you really want to spend some quality time with your kids, stay home and cook something you know they will eat for sure, involving them in the cooking process as well. If you feel like eating out every once in a while, go to places where they have kids’ menus or kids eat for free.
