11 Things Parents Splurge on for Their Kids but Shouldn’t

Bikes

Kids love bikes and what parent doesn’t want to offer their offspring the things that they love? Unfortunately, just like clothes, bikes, skateboards, roller skates and other similar items can only be used for a limited period of time as kids outgrow them way too quickly.

If it were up to your kids, you’d constantly have to buy new bikes, skateboards and whatnot to keep them active and satisfied but it would surely not be satisfying when it comes to your budget. Instead of wasting money on new things whenever your children outgrow them, try finding a good bike at local consignment shops or at garage sales. Your kid will be happy and you’ll get to keep more money in your pocket.
