One of the home appliances people often disregard cleaning are microwaves. You might not think the splatters on the inside are that dangerous, but they can really break your microwave by turning rock-solid or burn the walls of the appliance.
“Clean out the microwave with all-purpose cleaner regularly to prevent the need for premature repairs and replacement,” says Ron Shimek, president of Mr. Appliance, a Neighborly company. Don’t postpone taking care of microwave malfunctions until it’s too late and the appliance can no longer be repaired.
