We all want to have some spare cash for those unexpected life events, such as suddenly losing your job or having your boiler decide it’s had enough of working properly but sometimes it can be easy to think ‘it’ll never happen to me’, well, sorry to break it to you be we all have some form of financial emergency hit us when we least expect it. And if you’ve not been putting away a little bit of money to cover eventualities like these, you could find yourself having to turn to a loan or credit card to cover those unexpected expenses and with those loans and cards comes the inevitable interest. So, it’s in your best interests to start an emergency fund ASAP.
