Do you find that people sigh a lot when you’re talking, or even just as soon as you walk in a room? We’re afraid that’s not a good sign and you shouldn’t ignore it.

After all, sighing is an involuntary function- not all the time, but very often. We typically do it when we’re stressed, annoyed, agitated or irritated, according to a 2009 study published in the journal Psychophysiology.

Still unsure as to why or when the people around you do this? Try to take note of when it happens. If they do so even when you’re not saying something controversial then maybe they think you’re a rude person in general and it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
