7. Their Smile Doesn’t Seem to Add Up
It’s difficult to tell if you’re rude when people won’t come out and say it to your face. It’s even harder if they’re smiling when you’re talking to them or even if you’re just in the vicinity. So, what’s the big deal?
Well, just because someone is smiling doesn’t mean they’re happy. And the way they smile could tell you everything about what they’re feeling at that moment. Look for a discrepancy between their eyes and their smile. If their eyes crinkle at the corners and if there’s a ‘spark’ in them, then we’ve got good news! If not, it’s possible they’re faking it. Deadpan eyes don’t make sense when someone’s smiling from ear to ear.
Maybe the person you’re talking to doesn’t want to be rude or doesn’t want to make you feel unwanted even if they don’t like your behavior. That could be the reason behind all of this.
