You’re trying to strike it rich
Many people are trying to get reach the quick and easy way, says Jon Dulin, founder of Money Smart Guides. Whether by investing in a popular stock, looking for a job that brings them easy money or coming up with a business idea, too many people ignore reality and chase a dream of striking rich overnight.
Unfortunately, most don’t get past the dreaming stage. That’s because becoming rich takes a lot of hard work, effort and sacrifices, Dulin says. We might think that other rich people were simply born like that, but in most cases, their road from rags to riches was not easy.
