Your closet is another place where you simply throw and cram stuff inside, especially when company is expected in short notice. But instead of hiding everything in there, take less than 30 minutes out of your time to make your mother proud and organize it like a responsible adult. To clear and organize your closet easier, group items into categories, like outerwear and seasonal. The clothes you are no longer wearing and plan on giving away should be placed in another pile but not before checking your pockets first.
