Get Some Sunlight
While making a point of putting on sunscreen is a good way to reduce your risk of skin cancer, shun the sun altogether and you may be doing a disservice to your health. Research conducted at Zayed University in the United Arab Emirates reveals that people with depression who spent the most time outdoors during the study period had the most significant improvement in their symptoms. If you happen to catch your rays early in the day, all the better; researchers at Northwestern University have linked early morning sunlight exposure to lower BMIs.
