TAKE A PERIODIC SABBATICAL FROM SOCIAL MEDIA
Surely you’ve seen some of your friends post that they’re signing off of social media for a while. And you’ll be amazed what a four- to six-week break from constantly scrolling through your Facebook feed can do for your state of mind. But if you don’t try it, of course, you’ll never know.
PLAN A TECH-FREE DINNER
What’s worse than watching the couple at the next table over look at their screens instead of each other during a supposedly romantic dinner? Being that couple, that’s what. Plan a tech-free dinner with your partner, family or friends where phones aren’t allowed on the table. And the first person to reach for theirs? They pick up the bill, of course.
