Melting Butter
If you’ve just decided to bake some cookies and haven’t let your butter reach room temperature, you may think that melting your butter is a good alternative.
But if a recipe doesn’t ask for melted butter, then there’s a good reason for it. For example, using cold or soft butter for your cookies will make them light, fluffy. If you use melted butter, they’ll come out dry. So, don’t try to save time by melting butter as you’ll end up sacrificing the results of your recipe.
