Replacing One Ingredient With Another
Okay, in all honesty, this is somewhat of an acceptable mistake. There are certain ingredients that you can swap out in a pinch, but don’t expect your recipe to come out the exact same as in the recipe you’re following.
However, in a lot of cases, you may be going down the path of a disaster. Since every ingredient has its own chemistry, swapping it for whatever you have in your pantry could radically change your dish. Not all cuts of meat are the same. The same goes for flour or spices, so be careful when you need to swap them!
